Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was banned for one match and was fined after pleading guilty to charges of "using abusive language and indecent behavior" in the match with Sunderland.
Wenger adopted a standard penalty of £ 8000 fine. He also will lead his team off the bench in the visit of Tottenham tonight in a match in the third round of the League Cup.
The charges were based on the behavior of the French manager in respect of officials of the match with Sunderland, played on 18 September and ended in a 1:1 result.
