All who have experienced one way or another, remember that memorable summer of football in 1994. Exactly 17 years ago on this day, July 10, Bulgaria beat Germany 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
In the 75th minute after Hristo Stoichkov scored a great free kick shortly after Jordan Lechkov with incredible plonzh implemented to raise up all over Bulgaria.
Curiously, the current coach of our national team, Lothar Matthaus, although it scored a penalty in this game, hardly remembered the names of the then good generation. Why do we continue to hope that someday we will have occasion again to enjoy and experience the same emotions as the summer of 1994. Now let's at least remember this game:
