Dutch F-1 commentator Ploy: Red Bull made Kravitz the scapegoat for British attacks on Verstappen

Ziggo Sport commentator Jack Ploy came to the defense of Ted Kravitz amid the Red Bull boycott.

Max Verstappen and his team refused to speak to Sky Sports at the Mexico City Grand Prix after Kravitz`s remarks about the Red Bull driver and Mercedes` Lewis Hamilton. According to the Dutch commentator of Formula 1, the Sky reporter in this case was made extreme.

I spoke to Ted this morning. You can listen to that interview carefully: he walks around the paddock and says that [the US Grand Prix] would be a very cool scenario for a movie.

The passages were presented so that everyone would hear only the last part, where he says that [Hamilton] was robbed. Not Max robbed, but the title was taken away - Hamilton was robbed. He doesn`t even mention Max Verstappen`s name [in this context].

He wrote to me: I didn`t say at all what Christian Horner, Jos [Verstappen], [Max`s manager] Raymond [Verlumen] think I said, and because of which they were upset.

The whole situation, again, was inflated by the British. The English press has been attacking Red Bull and Max for a year now. I do not like it. It`s all a game, you know. The British criticize Max and Red Bull, but now he (Kravitz) has been made the scapegoat. He is not. I stand up for Ted, ” Ploy said.
