Ziggo Sport commentator Jack Ploy came to the defense of Ted Kravitz amid the Red Bull boycott.
Max Verstappen and his team refused to speak to Sky Sports at the Mexico City Grand Prix after Kravitz`s remarks about the Red Bull driver and Mercedes` Lewis Hamilton. According to the Dutch commentator of Formula 1, the Sky reporter in this case was made extreme.

The whole situation, again, was inflated by the British. The English press has been attacking Red Bull and Max for a year now. I do not like it. It`s all a game, you know. The British criticize Max and Red Bull, but now he (Kravitz) has been made the scapegoat. He is not. I stand up for Ted, ” Ploy said.
