I`m sorry that Clay took my words to heart.
A few years ago I said that I think he is the best defender who can play on both sides of the court. But due to age and injuries, he is no longer the same player. I didn`t say he was a worthless player. I say that he is not the same as before.
I don`t think he will return to his original form. He asks to give him time. No, when you get older, time is not on your side. But I love Clay, so it worries me, ” Barkley said.
