Point guard Facundo Campazzo (31, 178 cm) has received a major contract offer from Red Star Star, writes Eurohoops columnist Aris Barkas.
The Serbian club is offering a salary of 1. 8 million euros until the end of the current season, and also promises to pay a significant part of the compensation in the amount of 2. 6 million euros, which the Argentine is obliged to return to Real Madrid for a move to the NBA in 2020.
According to the Spanish edition of Marca, the Madrid themselves offer Campazzo an annual salary of 1. 6 million euros. In this case, the playmaker will have to pay a tax of 45%, as an ordinary citizen of Spain, and independently return compensation to the club (2. 6 million euros).
