Drew Holiday has weighed in on his 2023 trade for Damian Lillard. I was once traded from Philadelphia to New Orleans as an All-Star, so the trade wasn`t that big of a shock.
I understand how this happens. If Damian Lillard was an option, how many out of 10 people wouldn`t take that deal? I wouldn`t agree because that`s me, but I think that`s what`s happening. That`s how this business works.
Again, it’s too early to judge anything. I don`t know they were shown. “I think they have one win, so it’s still early in the season, and who knows what will happen next, ” the Boston point guard said.
