Fergie takes three new summer19-05-2011
Manchester United are likely to attract three new players this summer, said team manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Red Devils won their record 19th championship last weekend, but Ferguson has built the future of the team and is aware of transfer targets. It is expected that a new goalkeeper to come to Old Trafford following the retirement of Edwin van der Sar. Paul Scholes is also rather to deny. Gary Neville has hung up boots and there is doubt about the future of Michael Owen, Wes Brown and Owen Hargreaves.
Young Danny Welbeck and Tom Klevarli return to the squad after periods hire in other English teams, but United boss will not rely on this alone.
"We have some ideas. We hope to realize them. Giggs and Scholes were at the end of his career, Neville has already dropped, and the same will and Van der Sar, so we want to ensure the future of the team for the next few years," said Scot.
"Of course we have excellent young players and many of them progressive, which gives us additional opportunities. I can draw three players who can lift our class," said Fergie.
