Scandal in FIFA is growing, that they have taken the first admissions for bribes10-06-2011
President of the Football Federation of Suriname acknowledged that he had received 40,000 dollars in a brown envelope after a meeting of the football federations of the Caribbean.
Luis Giskas is fully cooperating with the FIFA investigation which began after allegations of bribery.
"We told FIFA for these gifts. Money received them in a brown envelope and in our bank account. We asked ourselves what are the money and we replied that the development of football in Suriname. After receiving the money, we decided not to use them, while FIFA did not tell us what to do with them, "said federation president Luis Surinam Giskas told Reuters.
From Puerto Rico and the Bahamas have also confirmed they had received 40 000 dollars at the meeting of the football federation of the Caribbean. Money received by the head of the Caribbean Football Union Jason Sylvester, who was later suspended by FIFA.
Bribes were likely to vote for Qatar to host the World Cup 2022, which surprisingly won the Arabs into battle against the homeland of football England.
