Scottish Football Association announced the launch of a radical plan under which clubs will receive funding for participation in official matches for players younger than 21 years.
Project cost is estimated at 10 million pounds. Idea to encourage clubs to impose talent is copied from cricket, which received great popularity and helped transform the sport.
"We invest big money to develop our own players and will invest 10 million pounds in the next five years to support this initiative," confirmed by the Football Association of Scotland.
They gave as an example the situation with Charlie Adam, who occasionally appeared in the team of Rangers and Blackpool in the fight for fast starting place.
