Italian soccer club Roma reached agreement with Ajax Amsterdam in attracting goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg, the official website of the Dutch giants.
29-year-old Dutch national team in Ajax from 2002 and onwards, as this time won the title three times and the bowl of the country. He has 40 matches for "tulips" and lost a game in Spain 0-1 World Cup final last year. Stekelenburg will replace goalkeeper Doni, who moved to Liverpool.
Stekelenburg became the fourth new signing for the club after Bojan Krkic (Barcelona), Eric vane (River Plate) and Gabriel Heinze (Marseille).
