Rio Ferdinand ready for the match with Bulgaria, Vidic out for at least a month19-08-2011 |
English football and Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand will recover faster than expected and will be in line to host Arsenal on 28 August.
Fardinanad suffers from a strain, even as he was expected to miss England's visit to Bulgaria in the European qualifications in early September. However, the defender will be ready and is expected to fall in the composition of the England game against the Bulgarians.
Not so good news, however, are another central defender of the "Red Devils" Nemyanya Vidic, who also received a contusion of the match with West Brom
Manchester United captain will be sidelined longer than original estimates. The defender will recover from his calf injury in about 5 weeks, today revealed the United manager Alex Ferguson. Vidic was injured at the start of the season in the Premier League against West Brom, after the match from United's headquarters announced that the Serb will treat the injury about two weeks.
