English clubs spent half a billion on transfers this summer1-09-2011 |
Clubs Premier League spent 485 million pounds during the summer transfer window opened business analysts "Deloitte". This is 33 percent more than last summer, or else another 120 million pounds. Transfer transactions from the last day of the window included that of Mikel Arteta, who left Everton to Arsenal and Raul Meyrelesh - from Liverpool to Chelsea. Both attractions were more than 10 million pounds. Each of the teams from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United reached the 50 million pounds spending on transfers. These five form a club and are responsible for the whole 66 percent of all transfer amounts this summer. Teams in the Premier League have spent 165 million pounds for English football, and it is noticeable increase in transfer amounts in Serie A and La Liga, by adding "Deloitte".
