Palermo coach Stefano Pioli for was fired before the first game of the season in the Italian football championship, AP reported. Pioli had resigned by mutual agreement after the clash with club president Maurizio Dzamparini. So this was the 36th dismissal in 24-year career as head Dzamparini in Palermo and Venice. Pioli was appointed at the helm of the club in June to replace Rossi Deli. The specialist, however, criticized the acute transfer policy Dzamparini, who sold five of the best players on the team this summer - Salvatore Sirigu, Cesare Bovo, Matthias Cassano, Antonio and Javier Nocherino Cleric. Palermo president said at this stage the team will be led by young professionals Manji Davis, but he expected Rossi to return to the helm of the team's first game of the season September 11 against Inter.
