Coaching castle in Bochum14-09-2011 |
Friedhelm Funke was relieved of his head coach of the German Bochum. The club relegated in second division in 2010 and in May failed to return to the German elite after losing playoff of Borussia Mönchengladbach. This season, Bochum is not doing so well and occupies the penultimate position in the second level of German football with only 4 points from seven games. Member of the board of directors Jens Todt told the Bochum site, "We thank Friedhelm Christoph Funke and Jon for the good work they have done in the past 15 mesetsa.Ne easily took this decision because Funke had excellent relations with all the team. We just want a fresh start. Our team has qualities, but now does not show its potential. "
