Former President of the Asian Football Confederation Mohammed Bin Hammam could not stop the appointment of his successor, because his application was rejected by the tribunal. Bin Hammam received a lifetime ban on any activities related to football after being involved in corruption scandal by Zhang Tszilun temporarily lead the Asian Confederation. Bin Hammam is trying to stop the Chinese than to take a permanent feature. "Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne court rejects appeal of Mohammed Bin Hammam. The court decided to dismiss the appeal with the prohibition of appeals in higher courts," said a statement by the court.
