Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger gave 72-hour time limit to the captain Robin van Persie to decide his future. The German forward, who is expected to come in later today against Chelsea is favorite to win the award for Footballer of the Year in England.
Arsene Wenger hopes to keep the player whose contract expires in the summer of 2013.
Van Persie can play his last game of the season for Arsenal against West Brom on May 13, then will join the national team of the Netherlands in preparation for Euro 2012.
The manager of the "ball" is set 72-hour deadline for player in which he should decide whether to agree to sign a new contract with the team.
"It will be clear at the end of the season - before the European Championships" said Wenger about the future of his star.
