PSV Eindhoven winger Ibrahim Afellay will leave the club in January after Philips announced that the player had refused to sign a new contract.
The contract for 24-year-old midfielder until the end of this season, so it will be sold in January not to leave as a free agent next summer.
From PSV claimed for Afellay, who is wanted for some clubs from Italy, Spain and England: "PSV Ibrahim Afellay and concluded that extending the contract the player can not happen because a lot of different reasons. All in PSV are disappointed that our successful relationship with the player will end. However, the club was pleased with the deal that was reached with the player. He promised he would do so to leave with a good offer for our club. "
