Rooney volunteered to train with the reserves of the United9-08-2013
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney himself has expressed a desire to begin treinnings with the reserves of the English champion. The star of "the Red Devils" is willing to lead activities with the second team while he is recovering from an injury.
The England international is likely to miss the match for Community Shield against Wigan on 11 August.
Wayne Rooney did not take part in any of the pre-season matches in the tour of Manchester United. He probably will miss England's friendly match against Scotland. 27-year-old is generally a solid starter for "the Three Lions", but so far the only game in the indoor game for United against Real Betis.
