After the transfer to Chelsea, Eto'o gave up from Cameroon

New Everton star Samuel Eto'o took an important decision in his career that will help him to concentrate fully on his performance of "Caramels". He terminated his long career with the national team of Cameroon.

Although only 33 years old, he brings the shirt of  his country for 17 years or more than half of his life to date. Today, however, this era ended for the attacker.

"This message is to inform you that officially I put an end to my career in the national team of Cameroon. I thank all the fans and the whole Africa for all the love that I felt from them," wrote Eto'o in his profile on Twitter.

So his last matches with "restless lions" were during the World Cup in Brazil. There the Africans presented tragic and left the tournament after three heavy losses.

Eto'o took part in four World Cup, while also won twice the Cup of African Nations in 2000 and 2002 In Cameroon he has 116 games and 56 goals and has long been a captain.
