Midfielder Oscar de Marcos continued his contract with Athletic Bilbao for four years and will remain at the club until 2019 and announced by the Basque club.
25-year-old de Marcos played nearly 200 games for the team after his transfer from Alaves six years ago.
In the contract has a release clause against 40 million euros.
Athletic Bilbao finished fourth last season in the Spanish championship and secure a place in the Champions League.
