Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has revealed that Chris Smalling has apologized to his teammates after the defeat by Manchester City.
Smalling received his second yellow card and left the game at 0: 0. Ultimately, however, "citizens" prevailed with 1: 0.
Asked whether Smalling apologized, Van Gaal said: "He did it pretty twist. You can only accept it. However, I think it was not very clever," said Van Gaal.
