The FIFA President, Sepp Blatter retired once again announced that he is 'clean' in the corruption scandal. After the arrests of the senior members of FIFA, Blatter decided to resign only days after he was reelected for another presidential term.
'I resigned because I wanted to protect FIFA. If I can protect myself, then I'm strong enough.', said Blatter in an interview with the BBC.
'I know what I've done and what not. I have a conscience and I know that I am an honest man. I'm clean.', said the 79-year-old Sepp Blatter.
The Pre-term presidential election in FIFA will take place in February next year, a major contender for the post of Blatter is the current President of UEFA, Michel Platini.
