Rafa: 'There are fewer problems between me and Cristiano.'7-10-2015 |
The senior Real Madrid coach Rafael Benitez said that between him and Cristiano Ronaldo has fewer problems compared to what was written in the media.
'One of the myths is that I do not want to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. I talk to him every day and have to rest when you need to rest, to deliver the most for the team.', Benitez said in an interview.
'He told me that he believes in it. We agree with him, and I personally fully share his opinion. There are fewer problems between us compared to what I'm reading. Everything is exaggerated because Real Madrid is a club of great dimension.', added the 55-year-old specialist.
'I would replace Cristiano, but I don't do it because it is a guarantee of goals and has one big advantage over others: he scored 50 or more goals each season. I think he will still take the Golden Ball.', said Rafael Benitez.
