Arsenal played perhaps its worst game in Europe for quite some time now, but according to the manager Arsene Wenger, there is still a chance to qualify in the next phase of the Champions League.
The Gunners fell with 1:5 as guests of Bayern and are six points behind Olympiakos in second just two rounds remaining until the end of the group stage. And the Frenchman believes that all is not over yet.
'I still believe that we can qualify, this is still a possibility for us. Yes, it's not particularly large, but it's there. And while it's there, we have to fight for it.', said Wenger after the match at the Allianz Arena.
He attributed the violent wreck in Germany at 'extremely low' game. 'Gooners' made many unforgivable flaws in the defense, which is reflected in the five hits in their network.
'Bayern deserves all the kind words after this match. But we made it so that it's super easy. What kids are extremely weak, our game in defense was appalling.', said Wenger.
