The former Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard, will wear again the t-shirt of his home club. The former English international will take part in the duel of legends of the club against Australia, which will take place on 7 January in Sydney.
Liverpool has not yet announced the complete list of names who will play in a charity match at the beginning of next year, but it was clear that among them will be Gerrard, who is currently owned by LA Galaxy.
In addition to Gerrard, the team, led by Gerard Ulie will surely include Jamie Carragher, Ian Rush, Dietmar Hamann and John Arne Rijze. Among the Australian legends there will be Brett Emerton, Tony Popovic and Mark Bosnic.
