The manager of Chelsea, Guus Hiddink, admitted that his striker Diego Costa was furious after the end of the match against West Bromwich Albion (2:2).
Yet in the course of the meeting the Brazilian with a Spanish passport had a cruel fight with the goalkeeper Boaz Myhill. The missed victory even more annoyed the player in his locker room to harvest donkey punch the wall of the tunnel as hard and punctured a hole in it.
'How close did he get to the expulsion? I think he was almost on the brink.' commented Hiddink. 'The defenders – this is their right – they always slightly provocate, but things are mutual. It also triggers them. Such collisions are normal, I don't see anything bad.'
'The hole in the tunnel? It's easy to fix, this is not a problem. Diego is an emotional guy, and I like it a lot. If you need to push your players, it will be difficult to survive in the Premier League, but if you have control over them, it would be better.', added the Dutchman.
