Andrea Pirlo said that the legendary goalkeeper of Juventus Gianluigi Buffon deserves to win the Golden Ball.
The former teammate of Buffon believes that now is the right time, in which the footballer of the 'old lady' should win the award, particularly if Juve wins over Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League.
The midfielder of New York City also hopes that Gianluigi finally will get the Cup of the most prestigious club tournament.
'I am pleased by the fact that he again has the opportunity to achieve what I have always dreamt of and chased in my career.', said Pirlo.
'I would love if to win this trophy because he proved to the world that he is one of the best. I think now is the right time, in which this should happen.', said the 38-year-old Italian.
