'Philippe Coutinho has to play wherever he is happy.', said the Brazilian coach Tite, who advised the midfielder of Liverpool namely that. As it is known, Coutinho is in front of a transfer to Barcelona and it must happen no later than midnight (British time).
'Coutinho should be there where he is happy. I told him that!', said Tite during a press conference in Porto Alegre.
The Brazilian footballer has not played for Liverpool since the start of the season because of an injury but left with the Brazilian national team for a global qualification against Ecuador. Tite explained his decision by saying: 'Our doctors spoke with those of Liverpool. Our directors have spoken with theirs. I do not keep in touch with them because I don't speak English. I am not going to risk it, but we wanted him to be in the group.', added Tite.
