Florian Coffeldt was appointed temporary coach of Werder Bremen, confirmed by the First Bundesliga club. Coffeldt, who had been Werder until 23 years ago, inherited the dismissal of Alexander Nouri.
The Bremen team has no win in the first ten rounds of the German championship and is at the bottom of the standings. Nouri was removed from his post after defeating 0: 3 against Augsburg last Sunday. `I have a respect for this post but no fear, I can prepare the team well, ` said the 35-year-old. He will lead Verder to the appointment of the new permanent senior coach. Green Sports Director Frank Bauman believes Coffoldt has a bright future in the coaching profession.
