Manchester City`s former midfielder and British national team Joey Barton could continue his career in Notts County. The player has a proposal from club manager Kevin Nolan. They both played together in Newcastle.
`Joey and I are good friends, he`s a top level player, a good guy, we get along well, we`ll get back to him, we`ll see what`s going to happen next, ` said Kevin Nolan.
Barton last appeared on the pitch in April 2017 as a Burnley footballer in a Premier League match against Manchester United (0:2).
April 26, 2017, the midfielder was eliminated for 18 months to participate in bets. Disqualification was subsequently reduced to 5 months, but Barton, 35, remains a free agent.
