Porto defeated 1-0 as host Benfica in the derby of the 30th round of the Portuguese Championship. Midfielder Ektor Herrera scored the unity of the match in the 90th minute. After the success of the `dragons`, Benfica replaced four rounds from the top of the season before the end of the season. Sergio Consessa`s team led 76 points and the `eagles` of Lisbon were second with two less. In his last four games, Porto has made two unexpected losses from Passo Ferreira and Belenenses, allowing Benfica to head the table. Even a tie in Lisbon would have been a welcome to Rui Vitoria`s team, but at the very end of the regular time a strong shot of the Mexican national, Erera sent the ball into the net. After the break, the scoring continued to reach the 90th minute and Herrera`s precious goal, which might be champion for Porto. Benfica has won the title in Portugal in the last four years, but it no longer depends on itself. In the remaining rounds Porto has a fairly easy schedule - matches with Vitoria (Setubal), Maritimo, Feirenes and Vitoria (Guimaraes), and it will hardly allow surprise.
Third in the Primeura League is Sporting (Lisbon), and the fourth place is Braga.
