Glenn Murray a hero for Brighton, Fulham missed a two-goal lead2-10-2019
The Brighton and Fulham teams created a real show that ended up without a winner - 2-2. The London visitors may regret the result as they had a two-goal lead down the middle of the second half in the 4th matchPremier League round.
In the 26th minute, Luciano Vieto committed a stupid foul against Brighton`s Big Hero today, Glenn Murray, and referee Lee Probert pointed to the white spot - a penalty shootout for the hosts. Pascal Gross was behind the ball, but goalkeeper Marcus Betinelli saved and the score remained 0:0. Not long after, however, the score was changed, and in favor of the Cottagers. In the 43rd minute World Champion at the 2014 World Cup with Germany Andre Schurle took the Londoners ahead. Schurle received the ball into the home side`s penalty box and with a shot from close range he did not miss a shot. In the 62nd minute, Serbian striker Alexander Mitrovic made the score 0-2. Five minutes later, however, a mistake by Fulham in his own half led to a quick counterattack for Brighton, which ended with a header from Glenn Murray.
In the 84th minute, Murray made the score 2-2 with a well-executed penalty awarded for Mitrovic`s hand.
Brighton and Fulham are next to each other in the 4-point standings, with Londoners 11th and their current rivals one position below.
