Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe has set a record for English coaches in the 21st century.
Magpies under his leadership in 2022 won 21 victories in the championship of England.
The last English manager to achieve that many Premier League wins was Roy Evans (Liverpool) with 22 in 1996. Kevin Keegan had 24 wins at Newcastle in 1994 and 23 in 1995.
Howe this year has the opportunity to win another match: on December 31, Newcastle will host Leeds.
