Szafnauer would have encouraged Norris if he were his boss. Former Formula 1 team director Otmar Szafnauer said that this season he would like to work with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen or his McLaren rival Lando Norris.
Szafnauer also revealed what approach he would take towards the British rider.
I never worked with him, but I know his father. I don`t know Lando himself that well. But I listen to what he says, and he can be very hard on himself. He blames himself for a lot of things.
I think if I can change that and become a little more positive. . . He`s performing well. “I would like to work with him and just say: Hey, you’re great, believe in yourself, ” the specialist said on the High Performance podcast.
