Mascots for Euro 2012 were presented at a ceremony earlier in the day in Warsaw. They are two players twin - Ukrainian and Polish. Participation in the show took the peculiar national team striker Andriy Shevchenko of Ukraine, as well as ambassadors of Oleg Blokhin championship and Zbigniew Bonek.
"Two mascot symbolize the commitment of Poland and Ukraine to organize a successful tournament. The only thing that separates these two mascot is that support two different teams, said President of the Ukrainian football Igor Surkis. Polish football is number 20, while that of Ukraine - with number 12. During the presentation they showed skill with the ball and scored. The names of talismans will be determined after a vote of fans around the world. Currently there are three pairs of proposed names - Slavek and Slavko, and Siemko Strimko, Klemek and Ladko. The results will be known on December 4.
