Coach of Schalke 04 Felix Magath admitted that there is serious interest from several clubs to Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitich team.
This contract of 22-year-old with Schalke expires in the summer of 2011, but Rakitich is in advanced negotiations for its extension.
"I'm not optimistic about the future of Rakitich. It is a very good player and it is normal to have a serious interest. I personally know of two teams from Italy, who want to take it. We will do everything possible to keep it. In January it will become clear his future, "said Magath.
