Argentine midfielder Andres D'Alesandro was voted best player of the Americas in 2010 in a poll of the Uruguayan newspaper El Pais, which involved more than 300 sports journalists from 19 countries. Andres D'Alesandro 0.29 years, the winner of the tournament "Copa Libertadores" with his Brazilian club Internacional / Porto Alegre / ahead by ten votes to another Argentine player - Juan Sebastian Veron, who is now captain of Argentina's Estudiantes / La Plata.
