Tottenham defender Younes Kabul will undergo knee surgery and will be out at least six weeks, increasing problems in this area of the team, admitted manager Harry Redknapp told reporters after a meeting with Fulham of the Cup in England.
The absence of Kabul coupled with that of Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate, and supplemented with the expected punishment of Michael Dawson, makes the task of Harry Redknapp to assemble normal defensive formation, very difficult.
Dawson was removed from the game tonight with a 0:4 defeat and get William Gallas thigh injury before the match. But he sat on the bench due to lack of other options.
"So from this match we are with two defenders less. Gallas is clear that it would rest, but Dawson was removed from the game, "said Redknapp.
