Team Lyon cause serious loss of St Etienne in a game of French Ligue 1. Guests are forced to 4:1, although the team of St Etienne lead after an early goal in 13 minutes.
Lead the hosts gave Carlos Bokanegra, but during the first part the result was reversed to 2:1 in favor of Lyon. Gomis tied the game after half an hour and five minutes before the break St Etienne made his own goal by Mustafa Sal. The other two goals in the match were the work of Michel Bastogne and Jimmy Briand.
So Lyon climb in the interim arrangement and now ranks third, he shares with PSG. Both teams have 38 points, three fewer St Etienne occupies sixth position.
