Deportivo La Coruna beat Villarreal 1:0 at home in a duel of 25-th round of the Primera Liga. The only goal of the match fell in 60 minutes. Players of the yellow submarine tried artificial offside after a header from a foul, but Kapdevila not withdraw in time and covered, so the ball was removed to head to Alberto Lopon which closely pierced Diego Lopez. With this success Deportivo emerged not only above the relegation zone, but jumped ahead to 12 th place with 25 points. After this round Villarreal slipped to fourth position as the third gave Valencia.
