The captain of the Netherlands Mark van Bommel will miss qualification for Euro 2012 against Hungary on Friday because of injury reported by the Dutch Football Federation. Van Bommel received a thigh injury and will remain in the Netherlands to undergo medical treatment to prepare him for the match against Hungary on 29 March in Amsterdam. The Dutch have already lost Arjen Robben, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Maduro and Theo Janssen, because of injuries. They are leaders in their Group E with 12 points, which is three more than in Hungary, after four games.
