The new Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier admitted he wants to bring Manchester United striker Michael Owen in his new team.
"He was always in my thoughts. I like him as a player and as a man, "said Houllier to the French TV" Canal + ".
"I went to Liverpool on 4 September for charity match Jamie Carragher and saw Michael play," said Houllier. "He still has the legs for it."
Former English international has started just as a starter 15 times since passed when the Red Devils last summer and also would agree to transfer.
