Switzerland strikers Alexander Frei and Marco Shtreler announced that they abandon the national team, just days after the "Crusader" made by Bulgaria 0:0 in evrokvalifikatsiite, and so the two panels lost their chance for Euro 2012. Their decision shall take effect immediately, meaning they will play the remaining matches in the qualifying cycle.
The duo was severely criticized after the shoots, so stop with appearances with the national team. 31-year-Fry is the leading scorer in the history of Switzerland with 42 goals in 84 matches and 29-year-old Shtreler has 12 goals in 37 games.
In a joint statement together with the Swiss Football Association, Fry and Shtreler announced its decision. They will not play against England on 4 June at Wembley.
